HISTORY - DELHI 2010

A protocol of courtesy was implamented, with the domain websites www.delhi2010.com being offered to the following parties in there respective order.

- Commonwealth Games Delhi 2010   - (cwgdelhi2010) New Delhi India

- Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) - New Delhi India

- Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) New Delhi India

- National Portal Secretariat - New Delhi India

The offers took place over an 18 week period - 12th March 2010 to 31st July 2010.

As a sign of warm relations, the purchase value of the Domain Names was left to be determined by those the offer was made to. As it transpired no solid interest was received with respect to the acquisition of the sites, opening up availability for purchase by a global market.

Original Acquisition:

The sites were created and secured early in July 2003 for what was the then planned 2010 - International *"Food & Fashion Festival" , which was envisaged to start in Delhi India to compliment sporting activities during the 2010 year.    (Click - "Food & Fashion Festival"  Tab in grey box above left.)
